Reflections in History

Specializing in the History, Photography, and
Signature Habits of Lyndon B. Johnson

From his early years as a young Congressman
and Senator through the years of his Presidency,
Lyndon B. Johnson remains a fascinating study in
personality, power, and politics.

This website is dedicated to promoting the study of autographs and the photographic record of the life and times of Lyndon B. Johnson.

This site is not intended to be comprehensive. The intent is to provide a basis for further study to those interested in the subject matter.

For the advanced student and collector, the purchase of the Signature Study Book listed on this website is highly recommended.

The above autographs are only a sample of signatures identified and analyzed in the Signature Study Book. As you can readily identify, signature habits change over time. Couple that change with the fact LBJ had secretaries authorized to sign for him and then in 1957 when the Autopen Machine was authorized for purchase and use by the United States Congress, there exists today a great challenge to identify authentic Lyndon B. Johnson signatures.

I have devoted over a decade to the study of Lyndon Johnson’s signature as well as the photographic record of his career. I will most likely spend another decade if not my remaining lifetime to this study.

Stay tuned. Refer to this site often. I will keep those interested in the study updated from time to time of new discoveries, revelations, and insights.
